RE: Revisions to Pennsylvania Manual of Rates and New Endorsements Effective January 1, 2005

Dear Associates:

The Title Insurance Rating Bureau of Pennsylvania ("TIRBOP") last year submitted to the Pennsylvania Insurance Department revisions to the Pennsylvania Manual of Rates ("Rate Manual").  These revisions were approved by the Insurance Department, effective January 1, 2005.

The revisions to the Rate Manual mainly deal with the creation and adoption of various commercial transaction endorsements.  Attached is a listing of those endorsements with their applicable charges.  These endorsements are not to be issued in conjunction with policies insuring 1 - 4 family real property.

We are enclosing the revised Rate Manual and copies of the new endorsements.  The Rate Manual will be available under the Business Practices section of Virtual Underwriter and the Endorsements will be available under the Forms section of Virtual Underwriter.

There has been no change to the Schedule of Rates - Company or Agent Procedure Rate or the Approved Attorney Procedure Rate.

If you have any questions regarding the revisions, please do not hesitate to contact the Pennsylvania home office.

THIS BULLETIN IS FURNISHED TO INFORM YOU OF CURRENT DEVELOPMENTS.
