Litter Control Administration Act Violations
Dear Associates:
We have been experiencing a high number of claims due to District of Columbia agents not properly checking the status of violations of the litter control act in the District. In an attempt to assist our DC agents in this matter and to reduce (and hopefully eliminate) problems caused by this law, I am providing you with a form letter developed by Kimberly Gilbert, Esquire, to the appropriate DC administrator handling the litter violations. Kim was been using this form with success and we are grateful to her for permitting us to use the form. We suggest that you make this form, or similar form, a part of your standard DC file set-up in an attempt to lessen the problem with litter liens.
