Dear Associates:
Please be advised that effective February 6, 1990 all conveyances recorded in the City of New York, must be accompanied by an Affidavit in accordance with Local Law 81. Please find a form of the Affidavit meeting the requirements in question in the reference section at the end of this bulletin. Such Affidavit must be filed accompanying appropriate recordings on or after February 6, 1990, without regard as to the closing date of the subject transaction.
