RE: "No Survey Program" - Refinance Loans

Dear Associates:

In view of the number of refinance loans being insured in this favorable market, I would like to remind you of Stewart Title Guaranty Company's "No Survey Program".

On refinance cases you may remove the general exception for survey matters from the lender's policy on single family subdivided residential property provided that:

You have a plat of survey of the subject property no more than 10 years old which was originally certified to the current owner.

The current owner is able to affirm, by executing the Survey Affidavit, that the survey properly depicts the present status of the property and that no further structures, improvements, or easements have been installed since the date of the provided survey. Please see form referenced at the end of this bulletin.

Once you have been provided with an acceptable survey and survey affidavit, you may delete the standard survey exception from the lender's policy. You will replace the standard survey exception with the items disclosed by the provided survey, as follows:

(Insert items disclosed by survey), as shown on Survey by __________, dated ____

__provided and recertified by the borrowers herein through (date affidavit is executed).

Please feel free to call this office with any questions you may have.
