Dear Associates:

Attached are updated pages to be inserted in your Manual of Rates and Charges. The changes are effective as of September 3, 2002.

With one exception, the updated materials are primarily clerical corrections to the Manual, made to reflect changes in forms and fees. Specifically, the revisions are as follows:

Cover Page - new date.

Page v - revised listing of endorsements.

Page 19 - deletes the reference to an endorsement to create an enhanced coverage policy.

Page 42 - deletes Paragraph 10.29, Enhanced Coverage Endorsements, as these endorsements have been withdrawn.

Page A-5 - reflects the increase of the minimum underwriting charge to $200.

Pages viii, x and xi - reflect the withdrawal of various endorsements.

The one new item is contained on Page 28 and is the addition of Paragraph 7.6, Other Miscellaneous Charges, which permits the insurer or agent to pass through the costs for certain services requested in connection with a transaction, such as wire transfer fees, fees for payoff statements, and statutory notary fees.

Please insert the new pages in all copies of the Manual in your office, and discard the replaced pages. Should you have any questions, please call our office.
