The Waste System Authority of Eastern Montgomery County ("WSA") imposes a fee upon all generation of municipal solid waste. This fee is in addition to the trash hauling or trash pickup service. While there are 22 participating municipalities, only five assess residential properties as well as commercial properties. Attached is the list of participating municipalities.
To obtain a Waste Generation Fee account balance for those participating municipalities, please mail your request, noting the property address and parcel number, with a $15.00 check payable to WSAEMC and self-addressed stamped envelope to:

If unpaid, the waste generation constitutes a municipal claim and the premises may be subject to judicial sale in the same manner as other municipal liens.
