Last year the towns of East Fishkill, Wappinger's Falls and Fishkill enacted local well testing requirements on sales and refinances of property located within said towns. Specifically, East Fishkill and Wappingers Falls require a well test on all sales of real property. Fishkill requires the well test on all sales and refinances. Effective June 1, 2008 East Fishkill will now require a letter from the new lender that they (the lender) intend to refinance the subject property addressed to the Town of East Fishkill.
Letter should be addressed to Town of East Fishkill, Building and Zoning Department, Town Hall, 330 Route 376 Hopewell Junction, NY 12533
Please keep this requirement in mind as municipal searches will not be released without the well test.
