Albany County Recordings
Pursuant to the memo from the Albany County Clerk attached hereto, Albany will process recordings where the overage of fees is less than $25.00. Papers will not be processed if the overage of fees is greater than $25.00, or there is an underage of fees.
You can inquire with the county clerk about setting up a filler account which would allow you to authorize the county clerk to take money for any underfunded recording.
