NC Premium Rates
Dear Associates:
The North Carolina Department of Insurance has approved a premium rate increase for North Carolina title insurance rates. The rates will become effective on September 1, 2010. The new schedule of premium is shown below:
Regular Title Insurance Rates for a lender's and/or Owner's Policy Per Thousand:
Up to $100,000 $2.05
100,001 to 500,000 $1.60
500,001 to 2,000,000 $1.05
2,000,001 to 7,000,000 $0.80
7,000,000 and above $0.55
