Dear Associates:
Effective November 15, 2011, title insurance coverage for commercial transactions in excess of $1 million is negotiable (within certain maximum and minimum limits). The term "commercial" is defined as a structure or land developed for any use other than residential. The term "residential" means a structure or land developed for use as a one to four family dwelling. Agents should contact a Stewart Underwriter or Agency Manager for approval of a bid.
