RE: Policy and Endorsement Signature Changes

As of February 2014, Stewart Title notified All New York State Office Counsel, Managers and Agents of a change in management that resulted in updates to our policy jackets and endorsements, specifically signature changes. We have noticed that some policies and endorsements are still being submitted showing the old signatures. As a reminder, please read the below bulletin with regards to the changes made to our policy jackets and endorsements.

Below is the language contained in the original Bulletin NY000537:

In order to reflect these recent management changes, Stewart Title Insurance Company has updated the signatures on our policy jackets and endorsements. The updated policy jackets and endorsements have the signatures of Julie Curlen, as President and Denise Carraux as Corporate Secretary. These changes are effective immediately.  

The new endorsements are available online in the Stewart Agent Resource Center. To access the Agent Resource Center, go to www.stewart.com/new-york and click on "Agent Log-In". You will need your Agent ID number to access the Resource Center. If you do not know your agent ID number, please call 212-922-0050. Endorsements are in word format and are available separately or as a complete zip file download.

Policy Jackets were also updated and are available online through STEPS. For issues concerning Policy Jackets, please contact Policy Services.

When creating and issuing policies and endorsement please make sure they reflect the new signatures as per this bulletin. If these signatures are not reflective of the new signature changes please contact Customer Service at 1-888-LANDATA (526-3282).
