RE: RATES/AND OR FORMS UPDATE: NEW VIRGINIA RATE MANUAL

Dear Associates:

Please note there is a newly revised Virginia Rate Manual and Schedule of Charges. The effective date for the manual is August 1, 2014.

Changes: There is a new bracket of rates in Virginia for policies from $2.5 million to $5.0 million, new policy amount minimum premiums, clarification regarding endorsement charges, and new loan modification premium rates. The rate manual also contains additional notes about Virginia decedents’ estate cases, the ALTA U.S. Policy, the STG Home Equity Policy, the ALTA Junior Loan Policy and other products.

Please note: Any agent using AFW or AIM+ should contact their PropertyInfo Customer Care representative to get the new rate(s) and/or changes implemented into their AFW or AIM+ system.
