Dear Associates:
Effective December 9, 2016, an updated Stewart Title Guaranty Company rate manual and new forms and endorsements have been approved for use by the Minnesota Department of Commerce. New submissions include the ALTA Commitment for Title Insurance (8/01/16), Residential Limited Coverage Mortgage Modification Policy and various ALTA endorsements as indicated in the References below.
Please contact PropertyInfo Customer Care or your title production software vendor to get the new rates/forms changes implemented in your system. Enclosed is a copy of the revised Schedule of Charges and Forms for the State of Minnesota.
As a reminder, other forms should not be used if a comparable ALTA version is available. If a comparable ALTA version is available, the most current version of the ALTA form available in each state should be used, unless approved by a Stewart underwriter.
