RE: UNDERWRITING - Bexar County Foreclosure Sale for August 4, 2020, is Postponed

Dear Associates:

Bexar County Judge Nelson W. Wolff issued a supplement to executive order NW-13 issued on July 15, 2020, that has postponed the scheduled foreclosure sale that was to take place August 4, 2020. The sale is to be rescheduled for September 1, 2020, if it is determined by health officials to be safe for large crowds to gather without a threat to the health and safety for those in attendance.

This supplemental order is in accordance with the Texas Government Code 418.108(b). On March 18, 2020, the Bexar County Commissioners Court approved an Order Continuing Declaration of State of Local Disaster for Bexar County. A second Order Continuing the Declaration was approved on June 16, 2020. This Supplemental Executive order shall be effective as of 1:00PM on Monday, August 3, 2020.

WHAT YOU SHOULD YOU DO:
Given the continued Declaration of State and Local Disaster for Bexar County we will not insure based on foreclosures begun or completed on or after March 1, 2020, until the Declaration of State of Local Disasters for Bexar County is no longer effective and you have secured Stewart Title Guaranty Company underwriter approval.If you have any questions relating to this or other bulletins, please contact a Stewart Title Guaranty Company underwriter.
