Dear Associates:
Pursuant to Executive Order 12B issued by Governor Ned Lamont on May 20, 2021, the remote notarization procedure and elimination of witnessing requirements established by Executive Order 7Q, Section 3 was extended through June 30, 2021. Accordingly, as of July 1, 2021, two witnesses and in-person notarization will resume as requirements for execution of deeds and other real estate related instruments to be recorded on the land records as they were prior to the health emergency.
