RE: UNDERWRITING - Fremont County Offices Reopen

Dear Associates:

This Bulletin is being issued to announce that Bulletin CO2022002 regarding Fremont County, Colorado is withdrawn, effective immediately. Fremont County has reopened their offices and most services are currently available, including online searching and e-recordings. All conditions, notes, and requirements that were previously required in Bulletin CO2022002 are no longer necessary and may be removed from any Commitment issued on a transaction that has not yet closed.

We were informed that, although the County rejected documents that were submitted electronically during the closure, some may have slipped through when the system came back online. If you are aware of documents that fall into this category and you have duplicate recordings, please contact a Stewart Title Guaranty Company Underwriter for further guidance. It is also being advised to review any files that contained documents that were delivered to the County, either by mail or in person, during the closure to confirm recordation.

If your transaction will not comply with these guidelines or if you have any questions, please call a Stewart Title Guaranty Company Underwriter.
