RE: RATES AND/OR FORMS UPDATE - Revised Arizona Rate Manual

Dear Associates:

The Arizona Department of Insurance has approved the following form and rate revisionswhich become effective August 26, 2022:

A copy of the Revised Arizona Manual of Charges and Forms for Title Insurance is available here.

A summary of the changes to the Rate Manual is outlined below. 

  • The Basic Title Insurance Rate table has been separated into 2 new tables: one for Zones 1 & 2 and one for Zone 3.
  • The Basic Title Insurance Rates in Zones 1 & 2 have been increased by 2%.
  • Language has been added to sections 205 (Refinance), 401 (Commercial, Developer and Investor Rate) and 503 (High Volume Rate for Trustee Sale Guarantee) to clarify who these sections apply to.
  • Added certain STG, CLTA endorsement forms, and the new 2021 ALTA Forms to the Endorsements section of the manual.
  • The 2021 ALTA Forms have been added to the Endorsements section.
  • The LTAA Endorsements section has been removed. These forms are no longer used.
  • The Secondary Market Short Form Residential Loan Policy has been deleted.
  • A new form was filed – the Limited Coverage STG Home Equity Loan Policy (HELP). This title policy covers home equity loans and lines of credit. Issuing guidelines are shown on page 33 and the pricing for this policy is outlined on page 34 of the new rate manual.

The Rate Manual is attached.  Please distribute to the appropriate Associates within your company.

Please contact Property Info Customer Care at customercare@stewart.com or your title production software vendor to have the new forms uploaded to your system.
