RE: RATES AND/OR FORMS UPDATE - Guam Rate and Forms Filing

Dear Associates:

Stewart Title Guaranty Company is filing an amended Schedule of Charges and Forms for Title Insurance in the Territory of Guam ("STGC Manual"). This STGC Manual has been approved with an effective date of October 16, 2023. Attached are the links for your convenience. (Click here to view a copy of the “Redline” and the “Accepted” versions).

The following is an overview of some of the more significant changes to the STGC Manual. However, to best understand the changes and which apply to you, the STGC Manual itself should be read thoroughly and carefully in its entirety.

  2. Increase rates for those policies issued in excess of $1,000,000 to $4.00 per $1,000 in liability, from $3.00 per $1,000.
  3. Addition of basic instructions related to the calculation of rates where an Owner’s title policy and Lender’s title policy are issued simultaneously.
