Stewart Title Guaranty Company (“STG” or “Company”) recently received an objection to its February filing. As a result, attached is a newly amended Schedule of Charges and Forms for Title Insurance in the State of California ("STGC Manual"). This STGC Manual is pending California Department of Insurance approval, anticipated to still become effective on April 3, 2023; please post as required. Attached are the links for your convenience. (Click here to view a copy of the “Redline” and the “Accepted” versions).
The only change in this amended filing from the one in the previous bulletin and that was filed in late February is found in Section 1.25 Non-Residential Refinance Transactions of $15,000,000 or More. This section has been amended to lower the threshold and set the rates based upon the type of coverage.
