RE: RATES AND/OR FORMS UPDATE - Change in Tennessee Filed Rates

Dear Associates:

Stewart Title Guaranty Company has modified its rate filed with the Tennessee Department of Commerce and Insurance. The effective date for this filing is January 8, 2024.

The amended rate includes:

  1. Increase in Original Charge for ALTA Owner’s or Loan Policies,
  2. Increase in Simultaneous Issue Rate: Increased Simultaneous Rate from $50 to $200 across all Counties in Tennessee,
  3. Increase in Minimum Charge for Reissue Charge for Owner’s Policies and Refinance Charge for Loan Policies,
  4. Reorganization and Combination of Schedules in Rate Manual,
  5. Addition of Limited Coverage STG Home Equity Loan Policy (HELP).

These rates have been provided to third-party TPS vendors. Please contact your TPS vendor or account services representative to have the new rates implemented in your system.
