Explanation:
This endorsement insures that the description of the land shown in Schedule A is the same as the land shown on the mentioned survey. The title insurance agent attaches a copy of that survey to the endorsement. This endorsement may be attached to Owner's or Loan Policies. It may not be attached to policies insuring residential property containing four or fewer dwelling units.[13.14.8.19 NMAC] The premium is $25 for each endorsement. You may issue this Endorsement if you receive a survey of the land, and based on a review of the land shown on the survey and the description of the land you are insuring, you determine that the description of the land in your policy is identical to the land shown on the survey. If the survey that you attach to the endorsement shows the acreage or square footage, you should mark out that number. (Compare CLTA Form 116.1.)- This guideline applies to the following form(s):
