Explanation:

This Guarantee is designed to afford information to the Assured as to any matters appearing in the public records that relate to mechanic's liens.

The Mechanic Lien Guarantee assures the Assured that after a specified date shown in Schedule A ("Recorded subsequent to ___________________________ ...") the public records relating to designated land do not show any

Notices of Completion
Notices of Cessation of Labor
Notices of Non-Responsibility
Claims of Statutory Liens for labor or materials (other than those for which a release appears of record)
Notices of Pendency of Action to foreclose such liens

unless such matters are shown in the Guarantee under "Exceptions" at the end of Schedule A.

The Guarantee Face Page (revised 6-6-92) and Guarantee Conditions and Stipulations (revised 6-6-92) must be used with the Mechanic Lien Guarantee Schedule A.

Any revision to this form requires approval of a Stewart Title Guaranty Company underwriter. The underwriting guidelines contained herein have been provided for general reference. The facts, circumstances, and location of the subject property should be considered when determining the issuance of the requested form or endorsement. Please note that all of the forms and endorsements included in this system may not be available in all states. Accordingly, please contact the appropriate Stewart Title Guaranty Company underwriting personnel in order to determine availability.

Compliance with the underwriting guidelines contained herein in no way obligates Stewart Title Guaranty Company to issue any form or endorsement.
