Explanation:
The ALTA Endorsement 18 (Single Tax Parcel) to the Owner's or Loan Policy is issued if the land consists only of one parcel. It insures against loss if the land is taxed as part of a larger parcel or fails to constitute a separate tax parcel.Underwriting Requirements:
The underwriting requirements are as follows:
- Verify by review of tax records or tax search that the land, consisting of one parcel, is taxed as a separate tax parcel.
- Verify by review of tax records or tax search that the land is not taxed with other land.
- You do not need to add the tax parcel number to the endorsement; the endorsement contains no blanks to be filled.
Charge: $50.
