Please note effective October 14, 2022, there is a newly revised Virginia Rate Manual and Schedule of Charges. A link to an electronic version of the new Virginia Rate Manual and Schedule of Charges can be found below for your convenience.
There are several significant changes:
1.) Minimum Policy Charges have been increased.
2.) The Schedule of Charges now covers Standard ALTA Owner’s and Loan Policies up to $20,000,000.00.
3.) The Schedule of Charges now covers Enhanced ALTA Owner’s and Loan Policies up to $10,000,000.00.
4.) The rates set forth in the Schedule of Charges for Enhanced ALTA Owner’s and Loan Policies have been increased.
Please remember to continue using the current Virginia Rate Manual and Schedule of Charges for all transactions until October 14, 2022.
NOTE: Agents - please contact your title production software vendor to get the new rate changes implemented in your system.
